Asset integrity and reliability
SGI helps its clients improve the integrity of their operations and assets. Our approach aims to reduce risks related to safety and activity while ensuring profitability. Regulation, aging assets and unreliability are leading many companies to reevaluate integrity management elements, including assets and systems. We bring a quality approach to all stages of the improvement process.
Pressure Vessel Inspection (API 510)
- Visual inspection according to API 510
- Thickness measurement by B-Scan, C-Scan and scanning robotic carriage
- Geometric control
- Assessment of the integrity of pressure vessels
- Strapping of Pressure Vessels
- Control by acoustic emission
Piping & Pipeline Inspection (According to API 570)
- Visual Inspection according to API 570
- Piping integrity assessment
- Thickness measurement by robotic trolley B-Scan, C-Scan and scanning
- Leak detection
- Control by guided waves
Storage Bin Inspection (API 653)
- Visual Inspection according to API 653
- Background control by MFL
- Bottom control by LFET
- Thickness measurement by B-Scan, C-Scan and Scanning robotic trolley
- Vacuum box control
- Geometric control
- Reservoir integrity assessment
- Cladding of storage bins
FFS assessment
It is an important engineering tool when an asset does not have the original design information or is past its useful life. This technique is applicable to equipment operating in high temperature and/or cyclic service or assets that have undergone any event that may affect its serviceability such as high temperatures, overloads, or fire.
Coating inspection
- Hygrometric condition monitoring
- Roughness testing
- Surface profile measuring
- Bresle test
- Chloride test
- Dry film thickness measuring
- Adhesion test
- Hardness test
- Brightness test
Qualifications & Certifications
- Experienced, qualified and certified personnel (API 510, API570, API653, API579, API 580, ASNT, CSWIP…)
- Study of the results of the inspection (corrosion rate/Residual life, etc.) according to the applicable codes (API510, 570, 653, etc.)
- FFS fault analysis according to API 579
